Hotel Indigo Athens - University Area by IHG

The location was excellent. My son loved being within walking distance of the University of Ga. He and I really enjoyed the breakfast selections. I had the yogurt parfait and he had the breakfast burrito. It did take a little time to arrive, however.

Ease of entrance Stylish decor Well situated open area Nice outdoor area Very clean and inviting The Greek salad with chicken was delish I don’t think it had dressing but the build of the salad was superb and the chicken was fire roasted to perfection and I didn’t miss it which is unusual in my experience- it was very fresh

The room is very nicely put together, , in terms of the interior architecture, and nicely appointed for a hotel in this class. Everything, most esp. the bed and the combination of reading chair and desk chair, was comfortable.

The staff was amazing in particular the restaurant and bar staff. Beautiful furnishings in the lobby and the rooms were decorated very nicely. The fitness center is very nice and outdoor area with fountain and stage is really cool too.

Great location, sensible parking, upscale modern vibe. But the staff was the best part, Valencia in particular, she really exemplified southern hospitality. We only knew her for minutes but feel like we left a great friend behind when we left.
